2-8-2023 (SEOUL) Fans of ex-NCT members Shotaro and Sungchan, who have missed seeing them since their departure from the group in May, can finally rejoice. On July 30, SM Entertainment introduced their latest boy group, Riize, which includes the two former NCT members, along with five other talented individuals.
Riize, a combination of the words ‘rise’ and ‘realize’, is set to make their debut in September, and their music is described as falling under the “emotional pop genre”. According to the press release from SM Entertainment, Riize symbolizes a team that grows together and fulfills their dreams.
The agency further stated, “Riize members possess exceptional musical talents, including vocals, performance, instrumental skills, and songwriting abilities, along with captivating visuals. They are already garnering much love and attention, with fans recognizing and appreciating their unique skills and charms.”
