1-8-2023 (SEOUL) BTS member Jungkook has revealed that he will be releasing a mini album by November, following up his recently released debut solo single “Seven” with American rapper Latto. Speaking with his bandmate, Suga, on his talk show “Suchwita”, Jungkook shared that he has another single on the way before the mini album drops. He also admitted that it’s challenging to follow up the success of “Seven” and that he hasn’t found the right song for his second single yet.
Suga suggested that he write a song for Jungkook, but the 25-year-old star admitted that he hasn’t even started working on the new songs for the mini album. He said, “I want a song like [Seven] for my second single too, but I haven’t found it.”
In a recent interview, Jungkook shared that his ultimate musical ambition is to become “more appreciated and be even better”. He wants to be a “cool” pop star who can truly experience the feeling of being recognized for his work.
Jungkook recently released two remixes for “Seven”, with one focused on a dance sound and the other featuring more traditional instruments. He admitted that “Seven” wasn’t something he planned in advance, but rather something that producer Bang Si-hyuk played for him and he immediately knew he had to do it.
The BTS member also recently collaborated with Latto on “Seven”. He stated that he felt her “unique charm” was a perfect fit for the song’s sexual fantasy theme.
Fans will be eagerly anticipating Jungkook’s upcoming single and mini album, which are sure to further showcase his talent as a solo artist.
