21-7-2023 (BANGKOK) A distressed pet owner in Thailand was frantic when his beloved feline companion went missing. For three agonizing days, he tirelessly searched for any sign of his pet cat. Little did he expect that, after 72 hours, his feline friend would reappear right at his doorstep, sporting an unexpected accessory – a note dangling from its collar!
The relieved owner took to social media platform Facebook, sharing a photo of the reunited pair and captioning it, “After 3 days of worrying, my furry friend is finally back home! #CatSlave.” In the post, he explained how his pet cat had gone missing, leaving him with no clue about its whereabouts. But to his amazement, the feline had managed to find its way back, putting his anxious heart at ease.
However, the joy of the reunion turned into bewilderment when the owner noticed the peculiar note attached to his pet’s collar. The handwritten card read, “Your cat has been eyeing the fish at my stall for quite some time, so I gave it 3 fish. Auntie May from Lane 2.” The card also included a contact number, presumably that of the generous fish vendor. It dawned on the owner that the note was, in fact, an IOU, leaving him amused and touched by the unexpected act of kindness.
The heartwarming incident quickly spread across social media, with many netizens expressing their delight at the cat’s safe return and applauding the benevolent fish vendor. Comments flooded in, praising her as a “kind-hearted fish stall lady,” and remarking, “The cat came back with a debt!” The touching tale garnered sentiments from fellow cat enthusiasts, resonating with their experiences as lifelong “cat slaves.”
For now, the relieved owner is grateful to have his feline companion back home, and the mystery of the note has only added to the unique bond between them
