14-7-2023 (SEOUL) Jungkook, a member of K-Pop phenomenon BTS, embarked on his solo journey with the release of his debut single “Seven” on Friday (Jul 14), featuring American rapper Latto.
While BTS is currently on a temporary break as a group, with two members fulfilling their mandatory military service in South Korea, the remaining members are pursuing individual projects and engaging in solo concerts.
Renowned for their immense global popularity, BTS has made significant strides in the K-pop industry, including topping the US music charts and earning prestigious industry accolades.
The music video for “Seven,” described by Jungkook’s label BigHit as an uplifting summer anthem, was unveiled alongside the single. It also features a special appearance by South Korean actress Han So-hee.
As part of HYBE, a leading South Korean entertainment company that manages BTS, BigHit has been instrumental in nurturing Jungkook’s solo career.
Ahead of his official solo debut, Jungkook had previously treated fans with two free singles, generating great anticipation among his dedicated fanbase.
