23-6-2023 (JAKARTA) Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi has welcomed the opening of the Tanzanian Embassy in Indonesia, stating that this step reflects a commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. During her attendance at the inauguration of the Tanzanian Embassy in Jakarta on Thursday (22/6/2023), Minister Retno also emphasized Indonesia’s dedication to doing more in building a stronger relationship with Tanzania. “This includes preparations for high-level visits, both to the capital of Tanzania and to the capital of Indonesia,” said Retno.

Tembele expressed that the current focus of the embassy in Indonesia is to enhance the relationship that has been established between the two countries since 1964. He mentioned several areas of cooperation that they aim to deepen with Indonesia, such as trade, agriculture, and investment.
