10-12-2024 (KUALA LUMPUR) Authorities confirmed the discovery of a deceased 48-year-old Malaysian man beneath the Rawang Bypass exit flyover, amidst dense jungle vegetation.
Acting Gombak District Police Chief, Superintendent Abang Kadri, detailed that law enforcement officers were dispatched to the location following an alert received at approximately 9:30 am.
“Upon arrival at the scene, our officers discovered the deceased fully attired, with his motorcycle helmet still in place,” Superintendent Kadri revealed during a press briefing. “All personal effects, including his wallet, identification card, and timepiece, remained intact on his person.”
The remains have since been transferred to the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital’s mortuary facilities, where a post-mortem examination is scheduled for today to establish the precise cause of death.
Whilst investigations are ongoing, authorities are currently treating the incident as a case of sudden death, according to the Acting District Police Chief.
