1-10-2023 (MANILA) Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. reaffirmed the government’s dedication to launching a sovereign wealth fund by the end of the year. In a statement on Thursday, Marcos emphasized that the administration is actively exploring avenues to create a fund that is as flawless and optimal as possible. The implementation of the fund had been temporarily suspended to ensure the establishment of robust safeguards.
