12-4-2024 (SEOUL) K-pop sensation Lisa, known as a member of the globally renowned group Blackpink, has announced a groundbreaking collaboration with RCA Records for her forthcoming solo ventures. The 27-year-old star, through her newly established company LLOUD, has sealed a significant deal with RCA, a major label under the umbrella of Sony Music, ensuring her continued ownership of creative rights.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Lisa conveyed, “I’m super excited to be joining the RCA family and I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career.”
Top executives at RCA Records, CEO Peter Edge and COO John Fleckenstein, hailed Lisa as “a multidimensional talent and an irrefutable global force.”
With a pledge to her fans, Lisa recently declared her intention to release a solo album in the current year, emphasizing her unwavering commitment to this goal.
During a Special Birthday Q&A session titled “27 Years Around The Sun,” streamed on LLOUD’s official YouTube channel, Lisa tantalized her audience with insights into her plans, stating, “This year, album, No matter what, I want to release a new album this year. This year I was able to focus on myself more. I’m so excited to do what I want to do this year. Stay tuned!”
In addition to her musical pursuits, Lisa is poised to venture into acting with her debut role in the highly anticipated series “The White Lotus.” Furthermore, she teased potential collaborations with acclaimed artists RosalÃa and Tyla.
The anticipation for a collaboration between Lisa and Tyla was further fueled when the latter shared a playful video clip on her Instagram Story, showcasing their camaraderie while listening to tracks from Tyla’s debut album. Tyla captioned the video, “sweetest gorllll, played her some of my favourite songs on the album… Definitely a LISA x TYLA collab down the line.”
Confirming the speculations, Tyla later affirmed to Reuters, “We’ve been speaking about making a song together, so yes, for sure.”
